Beadwork By Gookookoo Beads
Amanda grew up in Northern Ontario and comes from Wiikwemkoong Unceeded First Nation and Nipissing First Nation. She is a self-taught artist of many mediums and has used to the art of beading to connect to her Ojibwe roots.

Our mother also contributes to beadwork made by Gookookoo Beads. She is a mixed Anishinaabekwe of Scottish and Ojibwe descent with her family hailing from Nipissing First Nation Area. She is reconnecting to her Ojibwe roots through beading.
